Unusual English Deco Modernist Clock by NorlandItem #1322 SOLD This is a fantastic clock with a great streamline design , veneered in figured walnut and satin birch with a black lacquered base , silvered bronze numerals and silver lacquered brass hands. This is quite an unusual design and a clock I have never seen before. Wonderful clock that was made by a small company called Norland Clock who were only in business for a very short while before being swallowed up by one of the bigger clock companies. The movement was in a very poor state when I got the clock and no parts are available. We have fitted it with a new high quality high torque quartz movement and even went to the effort to put a small dummy square shaft in the winding hole to give the appearance of the original movement.
