Exceptional French Degue hanging light. Fabulous signed piece on each piece of glass. Great modernist design with original brass signed (numbered) nickel frame. 4 pieces of glass make up this starburst design. The smooth geometric and contrasting detailed polished nickel body of this fixture has taken on a gentle patina with age. Strong Modernist infinity lines taper to the ceiling canopy to create a ceiling-heightening illusion. This medium-sized fixture would be perfect in the dining room, bedroom or any room in the house.

David Gueron, (Degué), founded his factory and showroom in Paris in 1926, which he called Verrerie D’Art Degué. Here he put his full attention on the designing and production of art deco luxury art-glass. Degué mainly produced vases, lamps and chandeliers, and his glass has become world-renowned and highly collectable because of the remarkable quality of the moulding and deep rich colours.
