It is always a treat to find something special like this. Not our typical art deco point of view, but I love to show this transition between Art Nouveau to Art Deco. WMF a German silver company was probably one of the best at doing this. They were so active during both of these periods and when you look at their pieces you can see the decorative design periods in the most obvious and refined way. What is also nice about this piece, it is in perfect original condition. The glass (crystal) is perfect on each piece, not a chip. I assume it was never used, probably a wedding gift that got tucked away somewhere. Also, very nice, we have the original advertisement from the WMF catalogue book. Silver holder, 3 glass pieces for oil, vinegar, salt and?????? Would look smart on any table setting or buffet, both in Art Deco style and earlier.
