An amazing chrome , Macassar ebony and lead crystal cookie box by noted Paris maker Louis Prodhon. I've never seen a box of this quality and style this big before . It's a very severe deco style having a great modernist look with the chrome balls and exposed screws on the hinges , Beautiful Macassar Ebony veneer with black edging all in perfect condition with no losses or damage . Very heavy hand made lead crystal liner is almost 1/2" thick with beautiful cut and polished horizontal lines running all the way around , probably made by Baccarat for Prodhon. Has it's original protective green felt to the underside along with the makers black and gold paper label.
