Classic French Art Deco clock with garnitures 1925Item #1453 A wonderful French Art Deco clock. I just can't decide which I like more, the clock or the stylized French Deco ladies. They are rendered in a rather coquettish pose, offering flowers and fruit. This is a gem of a piece with matching garnitures. The material is white metal with original enamel patina, stylized 1925 deco floral. If you were visit Paris that year, you would certainly see a clock in this style sitting on a lovely wood shelf at the Bon Marche department store. This is the classic standard brass French pendulum movement (both key wind and chimes), with original porcelain enamel face marked Marseille, the city in which it was made.
