French Bronze Art Deco pair of hunting prowlers by Michael DecouxItem #1481 SOLD Very nice pair of hunting cats in bronze by celebrated prolific Belgian sculptor Michael Decoux (1837-1924) specializing in animals. The texture of the outside (its skins) looks like it could be a tiger or a cheetah. Hard to know, but the un-identical pair seem to be working and walking together on the hunt! This is a wonderful piece and of the highest quality bronze. Signed on the back leg Decous and "bronze" The base is beautiful shiny black marble.
