French Art Deco cubist squirrel bookends by Le Verrier

Great looking pair of cubist style squirrels designed by the one and only Max Le Verrier. Great silvered-bronze finish on nice black marble bases. Each piece is signed in the metal base. French circa 1930's. Max LeVerrier has been one of the favorite Art Deco sculptors whose atelier supported many important French sculptors during this period.
