Wonderful French Art Deco Statue Bronze Diana the Archer Huntress 31inches tall

This is one of the best Art Deco bronzes we've received in a long time. A striking and serious piece, marked bronze. This fully rendered woman with a bow, stands a stunning 31 inches tall. Beautiful with original silvered bronze patina on a stepped deco onyx base. Please take note of the wonderfully rendered hands, fingers and feet, always the sign of a quality sculptor whose casting is original and true to the design (not a copy). She is stamped "bronze in the back of the foot. A striking pose: reaching for the sky with her well maintained bow. So many wonderful angles, showing off the true artistic execution of the 1930's art deco style, flowing hair and somewhat muscular body.

We have not found the artists signature but could assume from its acquisition (in France) most likely done by an artist like Alexandre Ouline (born in Belgium, working in France). Also in the style of Lorenzel who did many figural in silver of the Diana figure with similar hair and stylized bow. A terrific piece and would look great featured standing tall, maybe in your Atelier?
