French Covered Serving Dish

A beautifully designed and very heavy quality  1920's 1930's French Art Deco silver plated bronze serving dish or tureen complete with cover and it's original serving platter.All pieces are in perfect condition totally free from any damages or repairs retaining it's original silver plate which is wear and blemish free.The tureen has solid Macassar Ebony handles and finial which are all in perfect undamaged condition. It's very rare to find silver plated tureens from this period and to be complete with it's serving platter is extremely unusual, the platter is big and deep enough to be used as a serving tray on it's own. All three pieces have matching makers mark BB in a square and the standard French plate marks. A beautiful and rare piece of Art Deco period silver plated dinnerware that would look superb gracing your fine 1920's or 1930's dining table.  Any marks or patchiness you can see in the pictures are just reflections, the plating is perfect.
