A very rare 1930's Art Deco Jaeger Le Coultre 8 day clock with alarm. Gilt bronze bezel and foot in perfect condition with only some light traces of tarnishing, gilt rear cover, winding and hand set knobs showing some light wear in the places you might expect where the clock has been wound over the years. - Front crystal is original and in perfect condition, has baton markers reverse silvered in a copper colour which looks very nice indeed. Rear crystal is signed Jaeger , it has a very very thin shard of glass missing behind where the 7 O'clock baton is but it's hardly noticeable and could be polished out at a competent glass shop, glass is otherwise in perfect condition. Central disc is finished in a patinated bronze colour with black baton markers for the alarm setting , hour and minute hands are finished in the same colour with the alarm hand in bright red . 8 Day movement is in perfect working order and keeping good time.
