English Streamline Moderne ChandelierItem #970 SOLD Made in the
1930's by G.E.C. , the UK division of the American electrical
giant G.E. . Chrome and Copper plate on brass this amazing
suite of lighting has been fully restored throughout, fully
dismantled and replated to the highest standards at great cost,
reassembled and fully rewired to current safety standards,
I retained the original signed GEC lamp holders bulb sockets
and rewired it so that by using a double switch you can have
just three alternate lights on or all six. An outstanding and
very rare suite of Art Deco Streamline Moderne lighting consisting
of a large size chandelier ceiling light lustre and four matching
sconces wall lights appliques. Very reminiscent of designs
by Von Nessen, Dorwin Teague , Perzel, Desny, Adnet etc. |
