The underside of the glass is decorated with a striking geometric design and all of the decoration is raised substantially in the moulding to create a remarkable three-dimensional effect. The design on the glass is very reminiscent of French Sabino, Mueller & Degue glass, but different. It is not signed, but in that great modernist tradition French moulded stepped glass. Because it is all glass, the luminescent quality shines through. The fixture is a box of repetitive cubist circles that step forward with a skyscraper impression. This is a unique and handsome fixture with lots of personality.

Very nice Art Deco to Mid Century Chandelier with nice ribbed aluminum, original glass with circular speed lines. Great look and could work in many rooms with many applications, either for a dining room, board room or general lighting. Exceptional French Degue hanging light. Fabulous signed piece on each piece of glass. Great modernist design with original brass signed (numbered) nickel frame. 4 pieces of glass make up this starburst design. The smooth geometric and contrasting detailed polished nickel body of this fixture has taken on a gentle patina with age. Strong Modernist infinity lines taper to the ceiling canopy to create a ceiling-heightening illusion. This medium-sized fixture would be perfect in the dining room, bedroom or any room in the house.

A magnificent and rare 1930's French Art Deco ceiling fixture by the world-renowned cameo art glassmaker Degué. The fixture has clearly been cherished over the years and is in absolutely perfect condition. The yellow frosted glass "vasque" is hand-moulded from extremely thick pate de verre, and the quality and thickness of the glass can be judged by the fact that the glass alone weighs 6 lbs/3 kg. The shape and design of the glass are extremely eye-catching, and I have included several photographs of the fixture both lit and unlit that I hope do full justice to the detail in the design. The glass drops into a central dome at the base, and this is decorated with a striking geometric design of flowers and stars. All of this decoration is raised substantially in the moulding to create a wonderful three-dimensional effect. The upper edge of the glass is signed Degué and the inside rim is stamped with the model number, 1050. The fixture is suspended by the four gold chains and matching ceiling rose. The length of the chains is easily adjustable so that the overall drop of the fixture can be altered if required, and I can supply additional chain should the buyer wish. There are two light fittings above the glass vasque that take standard bulbs and the fixture is fully wired for use and in perfect working order.

This Streamline pendant light makes a bold statement in spacious stairways, foyers, dining rooms, and other common areas. The body, pendant and canopy are of gleaming chrome and bear a striking aerodynamic design. This fixture has a frosted glass lens in the center, but the saucer-like dimensions of the chrome shade bounce most of your usable light off of the ceiling. We currently have two of these fixtures.

Metal lovers rejoice! Here's a graceful 1940s Art Deco copper and brass chandelier that will brighten any room - lit or not. The body, curved arms and finial and rail motif are of a beautifully patinated brass while the Modernist shades and canopy are made of glorious copper. There are five shades for light as well as two more sockets tucked away within the body of the fixture for a total of seven bulbs. This is a larger chandelier and as such would be perfect in a dining room or other larger room in your home.

This elegant 1930s French chandelier is constructed almost entirely of beautifully etched glass. There are six (6) etched glass panels that fit within chrome channels and a thick, hefty, etched hexagonal main shade at the bottom of the fixture. The pendant, canopy, finial and other hardware appointments are made of gleaming chrome. The result is a dazzling fixture, with a very straight-forward and clean design that will elicit endless admiration.

A handsome and streamlined chandelier made of copper and thick heavily pebbled glass. Great Art Deco streamlines with just the right amount of detail. The body of the chandelier is made of a beautiful coppered metal that has developed a noble patina with age. The glass possesses a thick pale green-hued edge which glows strikingly when illuminated.
The chandelier hangs approximately 24" from the ceiling and has a diameter of approximately 18" inches.
