1930s Cristofle Art Deco Ice Bucket with ReservoirItem #969 SOLD A
delightful and important (deemed to be from The Normandy!) ice
bucket. Unusually heavy Silver-plate with a direct Art Deco stepped
base design and "L" shaped symmetrical handles. Its thoughtful
size makes it the ideal choice for personal use or a smaller table.

Orivit Pewter Ice BucketItem #911 SOLD A fabulous and large size pewter wine cooler ice bucket made by the famous German company Orivit and dating to around 1910 - 1915 , unsigned but I have this same model photographed in a book somewhere but can't find it at the moment. Stunning severe seccessionist design to either side which extends into the foot and incorporates the flowing handles with a bunch of grapes design to the other two sides. In absolutely flawless unmarked condition and has just been professionally polished to a mirror like shine. |

Condition is good, some slight scratching and wear to the chrome and the other curious thing about this highly collectible shaker is the Bakelite colors do not match, the top is a dark traditional green and the bottom has some blue/green. I've never seen the shape before. Who knows? |
