June 11 , 2007 Richard: Though it is always Priority One for sellers to manage client/customer expectations, I find this particularly necessary in the area of buying and selling items via the Internet.  It can be daunting to put forward substantial amounts of money on items one cannot see or touch before making the purchase. March 25, 2007 Dear Rick,  I can' believe that is has been almost 20 years since I first bought Art Deco items from you.  At the beginning, it was a pair of elegant bookends.  Then, you sold me a wonderful Austrian Hagenauer figurine (a yellow-and-navy harlequin).  I still treasure both of these objects d'art. February 22, 2007 Dear Rick, We both think you are doing much more than just selling fine furniture and objects d'art!  With your two stores, your beautiful  website ArtDecoCollection.com, and your deco era music, you are helping to keep alive a sophisticated time in  history which possessed a special class and grace. Too often, that is missing from present day society. Rarely have Bev and I enjoyed a shopping experience as much as when we are in your stores, as I am not much of a shopper. As an artist, it usually takes something of real history and high quality to tempt my interest. At Art Deco Collection,  I always find many fine pieces that evoke the special quality of the deco era.  Bev loves your stores more than any (except for perhaps her favored Nordstrom), and I typically have my hands full in holding her back ... sometimes I think she would put us in serious debt by buying  all of your treasures at first sight! We are always impressed with the very attractive ways in which you design your store's product configuration. They show your pieces to best and most appealing advantage. As a result, your stores have a much different effect on us than do typical shops., They are more like art deco museums. But, contrary to museum rules, we can buy any  piece we want  and take it home with us, as long as we can afford it (and, sometimes, even when we cannot.)
