Very useful and original French Art Deco iron entry hall tree done in that classic tradition known as fer forge. This is a nice size and could be used in your entry way, or bedroom, with original mirror, would be great to hand your hat, purse, coat or umbrella. I have one in my house and enjoy looking at it and using it daily. Simple design but nice details.
We don’t list items like this European Modernist Armoire often. If you are looking for that great home armoire, to store equipment, TV’s or anything that allows you to put it inside and put it all away. This is of European origins, I believe either Austrian or German. It is really stunning flamed honey maple wood in very nice original condition. It is not perfect, but shows extremely well. This is a 3 door structure, the two outside sections are designed for hanging clothing and the inside section has adjustable shelves. A very useful piece of furniture. Of course you could adjust the interior compartments to accommodate your own custom needs.

If you were every looking for a highly stylized French Art Deco writing table, I think this may be one of the nicest original pieces I’ve seen in a long time. The size is wonderful and very useful as a desk, writing table, reception table or small vanity. I love the alternating checkerboard wood edging with these wonderful classic French faceted spindle legs. Some nice features with center drawer and round bakelite knobs as handles. Also, on the each side (left and right), there is a small cut out for storage, books or your favorite bounty.
This lovely desk has many of the essential French elements you would expect from that empowered period of 1925. Nice parchment top with drawers and beautiful petite legs. A strong design look with a minimal footprint. The wood is all nicely polished Macassar. Custom made for us, very much in the tradition of Ruhlmann.
A beautiful European style Art Deco Cabinet with very nice detailing. The main wood treatment is a spectacular grained sycamore, found in a lot of European art deco furniture. What I love about this piece, first of all is the wonderful carving that runs down the front. The restoration really enhances the look with a rather contrasting point of view circa 1930′s. Dark mahogany wood details the top, bottom and carved front. A perfect bookcase and/or display case for decorative objects, yet equally as functional in a bedroom for the storage of sweaters and clothing. Adjustable shelves in all areas and nice size too.
Well, finally we’ve got this online. What a wonderful and original wood stand up mirror. Great details with nice column details and carved wood. Beautifully flamed Honduras mahogany wood and lots of details. Would of course be great for a bedroom, dressing room or anyplace a nice deco mirror would hit the spot. Beveled glass mirror
A wonderful unique tri-fold stand up mirror. Restored condition but very original. European style for sure. Sits on four tapered legs using flamed wood veneer. This tri-fold mirror would be great in a bedroom, hallway or dressing area. It folds up nicely and the closed side has the original silk/vinyl in a quilted diamond design.
This progressively-designed dynamic duo is guaranteed to brighten your entrance hall or any other wall in your home. Both are handsomely designed and expertly constructed of a visually breathtaking highly flamed Maple (also called Tiger-wood). Both the console and the mirror are unusual and note-worthy in their own right. The urn-shaped console features dramatic two-toned styling with a gorgeous front panel that is not usually found on consoles from this era. The mirror sits in a very unusual polygonal shaped mirror frame that is also constructed of Tiger-wood. This rare and beautiful matching set is anything BUT "par for the course". (Sorry, I couldn’t resist!)
I call this a 1930′s inspired Art Deco Hollywood Vanity because to me it’s just that glamorous. However, it was originally a European designer piece we recreated. It’s been constructed of warm Mahogany with an oval raised center platform of flamed Maple and it possesses an overall very unique and curvilinear outline. This is just a magnificent piece of very usable furniture-art that would enhance the beauty of any boudoir. Additionally, this piece could be fairly easily converted to a desk or console. The stool is not included, but available under item #1408 in our inventory.
Matching pairs of end tables, interesting nightstands. This seems to be something clients are always asking for. We see the typical nightstands but avoid those for our own inventory. In our attempt to continue to bring interesting new items, we had this pair made for our inventory. They are a wonderful shape round classic French art deco shape in Macassar wood with a parchment top. Really practical with two drawers for storage, yet still rather subtle and sophisticated. These would make great night stands as well as end tables and they perfectly match our exciting custom Art Deco bed frame item #1210.
Here’s a glamorous vanity stool made of beautiful and rare dark palisandro root wood with a cushion upholstered with creamy white leather. The stool features a rotating top which reveals a practical storage area below for cosmetics, magazines, remotes, or your favorite night cap etc. Additionally, this precious little stool would be just as perfectly at home utilized as a foot rest or extra seating in the living area of your home.
Very cool Ebony wood coat or hat stand. Lots of character and would make a great addition to any entry way or hall area. Stable base, allowing to store umbrella’s and original brass hooks with a rather unusual stepped treatment following all three supports completed with a tier top. You certainly won’t see one like this again.
A 1930s French Art Deco Chest Of Drawers. Featuring four beautiful honey walnut book-matched drawers against a rich Mahogany pedestal cabinet with just the right amount of detail. The cylindrical chrome drawer pulls add just the amount of flash. This great looking and versatile piece of furniture could be put to use anywhere in your home or office.
You just may want to sleep in. Our fit-for-a-king Art Deco queen-sized bed has been expertly crafted with richly grained Macassar and beautiful warm-hued parchment with a striking diagonal grid inlay. The diagonal lines of the inlay are a perfect contrast to the strong vertical grain of the Macassar. The headboard and the mattress frame are also decorated with striking Deco inlay. The majestic headboard stands a full 66" tall.
Here’s a wonderful piece of furniture that is truly as interesting and artistic as it is practical and purposeful. Expertly crafted of beautiful and richly grained rosewood and fitted with brass hardware, a roomy drawer and a bottom-hinged door that doubles as a desktop. Behind the locking door you’ll find more storage compartments and shelves all finished in a stunning Bauhaus-inspired orange lacquer. This elegant secretary would make a perfectly stylish and practical statement in any room.
A wonderfully elegant matching pair of rich Mahogany night-stands with enduring grace and function-ability. Each handsomely crafted stand features two drawers, side shelves and brass hardware. The striking black lacquer base/legs with brass accents offer perfect contrast to the finished body of each cabinet.
This 1940′s bedroom set makes a statement. A spectacular Italian suite, made by Dassi Mobili Moderni. This fine furniture is made of rosewood, black vitrolite, and a salmon-color marble. The set includes a bedframe with attached headboard and floating end tables, an armoire, and a vanity/chest of drawers with attached mirror.
Huge oak bedroom set. Consists of 4 door amoire, pair of end tables, vanity, dresser and headboard. All done in Oak with toned contrasting wood. Probably made in the 1940′s could work in many different environments.
