Wood and chrome modernist restored smoking table

What a wonderful piece of furniture. Very unique and taken from an original piece with all the earmarks of an outstanding design. Custom made for our shop, but what a table! Let me point out some features I think are very important.

Beautiful mahogany wood octagon table top (rounded edges) on a wonderful inlayed column with a very significant stepped base. (easy to get any legs under this table). The inlay on the base and boards some "real" ivory and some beautiful woods, with slight patina. The top has one side for chess and the other with a felt top for playing cards. if you remove the top, you will find a wonderful backgammon board.

There are 4 inlayed separate trays evenly spread out on all sides of the table. These could be used for chips, games pieces or cocktails. This is a table that is screaming to be used, enjoyed and appreciated.

Fantastic custom new French style Iron Table in style of Edgar Brandt

Here is a wonderful table, custom made for our shop (we have two of them). Would make great side tables for a sofa, perfect in-between a couple of glazed French leather club chairs. The color or patin is a deep reddish brown with fabulous super grainy brown marble. The quality of the iron is the best, totally in the French style and very much in the the spirt of Edgar Brandt, Subes, Dominique and Paul Kiss. Very substantial work and would coordinate perfectly with anyone trying to replicate that very wonderful early period of French Art Deco circa 1925.

Fabulous Art Deco Game and Card Table

Great looking game/card table. The top is all inlaid with contrasting woods and there are little cubby holes (4 of them) under each side. The table swivels and becomes a very useful green felt card table (maybe that's what the cubby holes are for). Nice thing about this table, is a very small footprint for such a useful addition to your home. Very stable and all 4 legs have brass tips. Anyone ready to play some games (non computer)?

Original Art Deco geometric tile table!

I just love this piece. The color and quality of the tile is from that great period of Art Deco (daze gone by). Look at all the colors and and the intricate tile pattern. WOW you don't see these table very often. Sure, lots of mission style tables, by modernist art deco style like this!!!!!!! The top has a great repeat of blues, burgundy, black and a very cool checkerboard treatment on the edge. If that weren't enough there is a 2nd lower table that echoes much of what you see on the top. Spectacular! Wish I had a place for it.

This is a wonderful classic and classy French side table. I've been waiting months to get it back from the refinisher. Purchased in France some time ago and it has finally made the long journey here to California. The rose marble is perfect, with a perfect fit with some very interesting metal beading work all around it. work. There are 4 handsome silver ornaments which divide the the oval table also coordinates with the legs. Another nice feature is a small drawer on one side and small pull out table on the other side (which is lined in leather). This fine table is ready to serve the next family for another 50 or so years. Who's next?

This wonderful table was created by and for Art Deco Collection.com. It is a great size and something clients have always been asking for. A side table or night stand with storage. We were lucky enough to be able to do these in either Macassar ebony and our swirly walnut woods. Simple but to the point, nice U shaped based, the look of a big table, but in a very compact size. I just love this table! The background is this, I found an original piece very similar to this while shopping in France years ago (in the good old days, when the dollar was strong and the French franc was still around). The piece arrived in my shop and sold within the first week. I have never seen a piece like it again but always remember it with great fondness. This year I decided to try and produce it for our store inventory and here you have it. I am very pleased with the execution, the details are all here: the modernist shape, wonderful warm mahogany wood, but most importantly the veneer of the parchment placed strategically over the wood then lacquered in just the right way to give it a smooth feeling and a slightly burnished finish. Voila!

Matching pairs of end tables, interesting nightstands. This seems to be something clients are always asking for. We see the typical nightstands but avoid those for our own inventory. In our attempt to continue to bring interesting new items, we had this pair made for our inventory. They are a wonderful shape round classic French art deco shape in Macassar wood with a parchment top. Really practical with two drawers for storage, yet still rather subtle and sophisticated. These would make great night stands as well as end tables and they perfectly match our exciting custom Art Deco bed frame item #1210.

Fits nicely in the front of a sofa or a pair of chairs. Something a little unusual and these nice size low original coffee tables are very hard for us to find. Oval Streamline Art Deco Coffee table or Mini-bar

Stunning multifunctional design and shape. As you can see, this perfect oval shape works great as a coffee table or even a mini bar. The streamline shape allows it to work in many configurations and many environments.

Take note of the warm honey maple wood with contrasting mahogany details. An unusual design in there are doors on both sides of the oval shape, so no matter where you place it in the room, there is easy access from either side.
