A great looking pair of stepped copper and bronze art deco sconces. So many nice details! The fluted openings allow for a special lighting effect which you can see in the photos. These are in very fine original condition and the the copper and brass will always polish up to a warm glow.
Original French lighting iron and glass modernist sconces 1930's
Item #1756
Here is a wonderful pair of sconces they were discovered in our back room this week, in fact we have two pairs (4 pieces in total). These are wonderful with original modernist iron work design and some very unusual glass inserts. Great looking and if you can use 4, don't wait around, these vintage pairs do not come up often like this. The glass is wonderful, it has a rather organized stepped up modern design, very unusual.
Unique Zig Zag Theater Art Deco sconces 2 Pair
Item #1753
Fresh out of unique theater setting (at least that is what I'm told)! I do love them, very sculptured and very dimensional. These have a striking modernist design with zig-zag metal treatment! They really make a statement. There are 3 colors of glass, the amber front slag panels with triangular tips to the top and bottom. White frosted side panels the can be adjusted inside to outside with just a hint of red glass, in all the right places. Nice original nickel and brass hardware. A very nice sculpted rosette on the back, perfect for hanging these lovely ladies. They even have the old style metal chain pull for on and off. Very unique and I just happen to have two pairs. Something not often found with such a unique lighting treatment. I will sell them separate, in pairs only, but if you need 4 don't wait around, they won't be hanging here long.

These are newly made so you can get multiples or only one, whatever you can use. Size is nice and amazing how one bulb can give off so much illumination. Fabulous French Art Deco Modernist Pair Glass Sconces PETITOT
Item #1667
Presented here is a very exceptional pair of French Art Deco light sconces. They are signed PETITOT an important French name in this kind of Art Deco lighting. A rather unusual shape with great modernist designs in the glass and also on the metalwork. These very stylized deco sconces could be great in an entry, dining room or modernist play pen (that's how I grew up). The glass is that nice clear frosted stylized moulded quality in the manor of Degue, Mueller and all those other great French designer of the 1930's.
Pair of Art deco Streamline Wall Sconces by Dreyfuss for 20th Century Ltd. Train
Item #1461
This is a remarkable design and pair of lights that are very close to my heart. I don't usually buy much in the way of American (industrial) lights, but these have a great pedigree. They were designed by famous industrial designer Henry Dreyfuss (who helped to shape the style and aesthetics of American culture). I have a pair in my kitchen now for 13 years and I was fortunate to be able to purchase a quantity of these (I think we have 5 pairs). These great sconces designed by Dreyfuss for the 20th Century Ltd. train cars, they were attached to the walls next to the seats and projected the light downwards for reading. Great for next to a bed or on either side of a mirror or great with a pair over a sink.
The knobs in the center of the stems unscrew and the entire top lifts off to change the bulb. They have been newly polished aluminum, solid brass stem/screws and enameled glass.
