1940s French Art Deco Vases • PairItem #1035 SOLD Here we have a matching pair of beautiful nature-inspired French vases from the 1940s in the "Prima Vera" tradition. The generous bodies of the vases are light cream-colored and feature a crackle finish. There is a metallic gold band around the lips and also at the bases. The stylized floral designs on the vases are hand-painted with rare and unusual gold and silver metallic and copper colored glaze to offer a vibrant contrast to the background.
