There is an interesting story to this delightful heirloom-quality carpet. Amazingly, this treasure-of-a-rug almost slipped through our fingers. We found (by sheer luck) a small patch of the original carpet, (it measured only only 24" X 32") and were immediately struck by the design, the complex details and of course, the fun of it all! So we developed an incredible carpet in an exact likeness of the original. At the same time we created another rug using the same pattern details but with a different color combination (please see detail page). The Martini Club Rug is a great conversation piece and would be absolutely perfect in a bar or game room. It has been handmade by our master rugmakers using only the purest dyes and finest wools. This, as well as many of our other carpets, may be created in other sizes and color combinations. Due to the intricacy of the rugmaking process and our high standards of craftsmanship, our rugs require approximately three months to complete. Prices range from approximately $7,000 to $12,000 depending upon the size and complexity of design.

This incredible heirloom-quality carpet has been hand-crafted by our master rugmakers using only the purest dyes and finest wools. It is an historic recreation of the San Francisco Fox Theater carpet from the 1930s. The scale of the details, the color vibrancy and the absolute glamour are true to the original. This carpet (and many of our other carpets) may be created in other sizes and color combinations. Due to the intricacy of the rugmaking process and our high standards of craftsmanship, our rugs require approximately three months to complete. Prices range from approximately $7,000 to $12,000 depending upon the size and complexity of design.

This fabulous carpet designed by Paule Leleu circa approx. 1937, maybe just in time for the Paris Exposition. The very strong and artistic design shows the influence of using a black background to help exaggerate the labyrinth interior design. Since this is a rather symmetrical design, it could be created in a range of rectangular sizes.

One of the more famous designs, although attributed to Henry Stephany, called ‘Circles and Waves’, it was first shown on the stand of the Studio Ruhlmannn at the 1928 Salon des Artistes-Decorateurs. This has been a very popular design for us. The symmetrical style allows for adjusting the pattern to be used for just about any size. We have me this up as large as 16 feet long.
The very original design by Gustave Miklos is unique to itself. So modern looking yet designed for the 1925 Paris Exposition. The shape which is both symmetrical and asymmetrical at the same time. Creating a kind of cubist effect. The sizes we have shown, tend to be in a smaller scale: 3 X 5.5 or 4 X 7 sizes.

Another very unique design by Gustave Miklos, "collage" rug in this example the rug has some unusual alterations, without being symmetrical, what I would call an irregular format. It has that very "modernist’ point of view and yet was designed for the drawing room of Jacques Doucet’s home circa 1925. These examples represent the forward thinking of the Art Deco movement. These rugs tend to be used in smaller areas, not as large rugs, both to be shown as almost floor art. Certainly able to make a serious design attitude. This is a rug you would not want to cover up.
