Spectacular Pair of Art Deco Iron & Alabaster Torchier Floor lampsItem #1443 If you have been looking for an outstanding pair of of iron floor lamps, look no further. This wonderful pair was made based on a great French style. It has all the elements of form, function and material. Look at the great "fer forge" detail and the special amber tea dyed alabaster which gives the color and ambiance of years of aging, soaking up everything the environment could offer. Not heavy in their look and a wonderful over-all shape. The open top allows you to use almost any wattage for great lighting. To me, they look best on a dimmer to help create the warm cool feeling of the after-glow from a special evening. Love them, love them, love them. Now you can love them. Measurements: |

Wonderful iron and alabaster Art Deco floor lamp / torchierItem #1386 In our continued attempt to acquire some unusual art deco pieces, we were fortunate to have this spectacular Iron floor lamp / torchier custom made for our shop. We have been offering some outstanding iron pieces completed in a small work shop in South America. The challenge this time, since we had never done iron lighting like this, was also to find a master alabaster maker to come up with just the right artistry. This alabaster that has the beautiful amber aged patina and we certainly got we wanted. Most alabaster pieces your find that which are new, are about as white as a refrigerator. This one shows the dark veins and looks like its been sitting inside a home for 75 years soaking it all in "Hollywood Boulevard." The lamp is substantial and fairly heavy from due to the the real "fer forge" ironwork. It will certainly add that special ambient light and offer another dimension dimension period lighting. American Geometric inspired Floor lamp with Mica shadeItem #1257 Here is a great American style floor lamp with footed base. These lights are quite useful, especially if you want a good reading lamp next to your sofa or chair. This is the original brass finish and in nice shape. We have rewired it and added a period style new mica shade which really compliments the geometric motif of the metalwork as shown. This is not a common floor lamp, but a style customers are always asking for. Measurements: |
