Item #698 SOLDA rare and important pedestal lamp, made by the famous American terracotta and ceramic company Teco Pottery (founded in 1886 by William Day Gates). The lamp was designed by Fritz Albert and the pedestal by Fernand Moreau. This beautiful lamp could be separated and used as a table lamp and the pedestal for another decorative object. The lamp and pedestal measure 82" H to the top of the lamp shade, 71" H to the top of the woman, and 13" W at the pedestal. (The mica shade is not original to the piece). |

Item #101 SOLDThis must be a one of a kind piece. The metal work is fantastic. All iron with gold detail, has a kind of Egyptian look. A very substantial piece with original alabaster shade and has the metal arms connected right to the shade. The piece stands 6 feet tall and the shade is about 24" wide. It has been rewired to accommodate 4 110v bulbs. This is a piece that can really light up a room or be dimmed down to create a wonderful mood. It must weight at least 90 pounds. This is the kind of piece you only see in those great French books on iron decorative arts and lighting. |
